On Saturday (September 5th), Park Hall hosts a top-of-the-table Novira Cymru Premier clash as second-placed The New Saints take on leaders Barry Town United.
Both sides have been enjoying strong campaigns so far, and while Craig Harrison's side have won five and drawn one of their opening matches, the visitors have gone better - picking up 18 points from a possible 18.
It was another positive performance from the Saints this past Monday, as they defeated Caernarfon Town 3-2 at The Oval. Racing into a two-goal lead with just 22 minutes on the clock, things were looking comfortable for the champions, but goals either side of the break brought the hosts right back into the contest.
Danny Davies scored what proved to be the winner 15 minutes from time, however, to make it five consecutive victories for the Saints.
Barry themselves were also in action on Bank Holiday Monday, picking up a 4-1 victory away against Briton Ferry Llansawel.
Elliott Dugan continued his fine goal scoring form at The Renewable Centre Stadium, grabbing a hat-trick, while Owen Brain scored the Linnets' fourth.
In the Novira Cymru Premier the sides met on four separate occasions last season. While the first meeting ended goalless at Jenner Park, Harrison's side won the subsequent three with a combined aggregate score of 6-0.
Saints fans will certainly need no reminders of last season's Nathaniel MG Cup final, however. Andy Legg's side clinched a 2-0 victory at the DragonBet Stadium, both to deny TNS a third consecutive trophy and a domestic double.
Barry will be hoping for more of the same this time around though, as although it's still early in the season, another victory on Saturday would see them extend their lead over the defending champions to five points with seven matches played.
On the other hand, a win for the Saints would see them go top for the first time this season as they look to win the title for a sixth consecutive season.
The New Saints will be wearing green and white hooped shirts, with green shorts and socks, while the visitors will be in yellow shirts, with blue shorts and socks. The goalkeepers will be in all-orange and all-pink respectively.
Arron Wyn Jones is the referee, with Daniel Beckett and Harry Hendricks the two assistants. Mark James will act as fourth official, while John Jones and Ceri Williams are the video assistant referee and assistant video referee, respectively.
Tickets can be purchased HERE and are priced at £11 for adults, £6 for concessions and £4 for under-16s. Kick-off is scheduled for 5:15pm. To speed up entry into the stadium and help prevent queues on arrival, supporters are strongly advised to purchase tickets online in advance.
