Jake Canavan has today completed a permanent transfer to fellow Novira Cymru Premier side Caernarfon Town.

The midfielder departs The New Saints after five and a half seasons with the first-team squad, having signed his first professional contract with the club in February 2021.

Before making the step up, Jake spent 18 months in the TNS Academy, having previously been part of the academy systems at Burnley and Manchester City.

The 22-year-old made 51 senior appearances for the Saints during his time at Park Hall. Among those was a memorable outing in the league phase of the UEFA Conference League, when he came off the bench against Astana.
