A full set of last season's match-worn away kit has made the near 6,000-mile journey to Eswatini (formerly Swaziland), after club sponsor Recycling UK Limited helped arrange the gift for pupils at Mlindzini School.

Neil Clarke of Recycling UK Limited, whose headquarters are in Tarporley, worked alongside The New Saints' commercial manager Simon O'Reilly and Macron Sports Hub in Wrexham to put together a complete set of match-worn TNS away strip.

The kit was taken to southern Africa by a group of students and teachers from Abbey Gate College, near Chester, who make a bi-annual trip to Eswatini to help enrich the local community.

This year, the students played their part in the construction of a new Grade 0 classroom worth E70,000 (approximately £60,000) in the remote Mlindzini community. The students raised funds and actively assisted local builders by clearing land, mixing cement and assembling roof frames to help deliver the critical early childhood education facility.

The pupils at the school were also delighted to receive the gift of their new football kit, which they're proudly wearing in the image above. The set of shirts, shorts and socks will now see regular action on the football pitches of southern Africa carrying the TNS name, as the club continues to grow its global presence.
