As The New Saints FC continues to strengthen ahead of the 2021/22 season, the latest player to put pen-to-paper on a deal at the club is Jordan Williams.

Terms have been agreed for the transfer of the Warrington-born winger – who is Anthony Limbrick’s third new signing this summer – as he moves to Park Hall from Stockport County.

The 28-year-old spent his early playing days in non-league football with Barrow, Burscough and Northwich Victoria.

Coming to the attention of Football League clubs, Williams moved to Rochdale AFC. As well as playing at that level, he also spent time on loan with Lincoln City.

Following his two-year spell at Spotland, he signed for AFC Fylde and then on to Stockport County, as he continued his journey as a professional footballer.

There will be a full interview in due course, but for now Jordan told us that he’s “happy to be at The New Saints and looking forward to meeting everyone and hoping for a successful season.”

Commenting on the latest addition to the Park Hall squad, head coach, Anthony Limbrick, commented: “We are really pleased with the signing of Jordan. He will add extra quality and options in the forward areas, being able to play anywhere across the front line. 

“Jordan is a direct and aggressive forward who will bring goals and assists to the team.”

In addition, TNS’ Sporting Director, Gary Brabin, speaking on the interaction between the clubs, added: “I would like to thank Simon Wilson, Director of Football at Stockport County, for how professionally he acted throughout the whole negotiating process.”
