We are based and operate across rural North West Shropshire, and within the border areas of Mid and North Powys. Our aim is to continually make sport, exercise and physical activity available and accessible to the widest cross-section of the community to improve health, wellbeing and social inclusion.
Poverty can be very hidden in rural situations because its not necessarily seen. Children and young people are particularly, at risk of criminal, and sexual exploitation. We work with various partners and funders, to provide diversionary activities, which will increase positive opportunities, and protective factors for all children and young people, and in particular, those at risk of harm.
Our activities include: All genders, girls and boys football development; FREE Holiday Multi-Sport Activities which includes FREE food right across the rural North-West Shropshire.
Youth Clubs and Cafes; clubs for disabled children and children with special education needs. We specialise in provision for young people, with special educational needs, and in youth engagement – offering a wide range of youth engagement activities and walking football.
We rely on donations and support of a wide range of funding partners to provide these opportunities for local families.
