On Friday (January 24), The New Saints get their Championship Conference campaign underway on the road against Caernarfon Town. 

Sitting top of the JD Cymru Premier table with 10 games to go, the defending champions remain in the driving seat, but with their lead over Penybont just a single point, they’ve still got work to do if they want to secure a record-extending 17th title.

This afternoon, head coach, Craig Harrison, previewed the trip to The Oval, as he held his latest pre-match press conference following training.

Discussing the importance of giving players time away from the club, the former Middlesborough defender was also asked about the recent arrival of striker, Zack Clarke, and whether he’s pleased with the position his side are in at this stage of the season.
