A point apiece at Park Hall
The New Saints and Barry Town United played out a 1-1 draw in Sunday’s Genero Adran Premier meeting at Park Hall Stadium.
It was an end-to-end first ten minutes, where Lexi Jones found the opener, before a Barry Town equaliser was found by Ellie Preece.
There would be no more goals in the game, as both teams walked away with a point.

As mentioned above, Lexi Jones netted for The Saints yesterday.
The Wales under-17 international has done well since arriving at Saints, as the number 11 has scored in four of the seven games played.
Club media spoke to Jones after, with the goal being part of the discussion.

Player of the Match, Sophie Phillips
Another summer signing that had a good game yesterday was Sophie Phillips, and the 19-year-old chosen as the Henstone Distillery Player of the Match.
One of the things that stood out was Phillips’ distribution for TNS’ attack.
The number 32 was given her award by Chantelle Teare following yesterday’s game.

Unbeaten at Park Hall
Shauna Duffy’s team are unbeaten at Park Hall this season after three games played.
The side haven’t lost a home game since being defeated by Swansea City in the Genero Adran Trophy semi-finals on Sunday, February 25th.
Going back to last season, the Oswestry-based squad are six consecutive home matches without a loss in total.
Looking at the bigger picture
In the league table, there is still hardly much in it at the top.
TNS are only two points behind current leaders and defending champions, Cardiff City.

Next up is a trip to Park Avenue to take on Aberystwyth Town in the late kick-off live on Sgorio.
