Due to The New Saints’ continued involvement in European competition, a number of JD Cymru Premier fixtures originally scheduled to take place in August have now been postponed.
Initially set to be The Saints’ opening game of the season, Sunday’s home match against Caernarfon Town will no longer take place as previously planned due to the second leg of the UEFA Europa League third qualifying round tie against FC Petrocub on Tuesday, August 13th.
With Craig Harrison’s side also competing in the play-off round of either the UEFA Europa League or UEFA Conference League, the trip to Connah’s Quay Nomads, originally scheduled to take place at the Essity Stadium on Friday, August 23rd, has also been postponed, as has the match against Aberystwyth Town at Park Hall seven days later.
Matches against Flint Town United (August 16th) and Briton Ferry Llansawel (August 26th) will take place as originally planned.
New dates for all three postponed fixtures will be confirmed in due course. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
