With his side training at the Stadionul Zimbru ahead of tomorrow’s UEFA Europa League third qualifying round tie against FC Petrocub, The New Saints’ head coach, Craig Harrison, held his pre-match press conference.

Taking place prior to the session, the former Middlesbrough defender explained the benefits of visiting the stadium 24 hours ahead of kick-off, and reflected on last week’s narrow 2-1 defeat against Hungarian champions, Ferencváros.

On top of that, Harrison offered insight into his side’s preparations for the match in Chișinău, and praised the job Petrocub did last season to beat Sheriff Tiraspol to the title.

The head coach also explained that, despite the draws for both the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League play-off rounds being made earlier today, all of his focus would remain firmly at the task at hand.
