This Sunday (February 12), The New Saints Women face Cardiff City at Leckwith Stadium for a place in the Genero Adran Trophy final.

The New Saints got to this stage in the competition by getting past Genero Adran South side, Cascade 5-0 in south Wales (November 20), before a 2-0 win over fellow Genero Adran Premier team, Pontypridd United at Park Hall Stadium in the quarter-finals (January 15).

City reached the semi-finals thanks to a 3-1 victory away at Briton Ferry Llansawel and a 10-0 win against Llandudno at Leckwith on the same dates that The Saints got through the rounds.

In the most recent meeting between the two sides (January 29), TNS lost 5-1 to the Bluebirds at Park Hall Stadium in the Adran Premier.

For Sunday’s semi-final encounter, the Adran Premier league leaders will be in dark-blue shirts and socks with black shorts. The goalkeepers will wear an all-pink kit.

Greg Draper’s Saints are set to wear green and white hooped shirts with green shorts and socks, keepers are to have an all-yellow outfit.

Tegid Richards is the referee, Matthew Johnson and James Young are the assistants and Joshua Howells is the fourth official.

Kick-off is at 2 p.m and there will be live updates on The New Saints Women’s Twitter page.
