LATEST NEWS

It’s the final midweek game for the forseeable future, when The New Saints travel to the Dee estuary tomorrow (Tuesday, January 10) to take on Flint Town United.

The JD Cymru Premier MD18 fixture is a ninth versus first encounter, with 33 points separating the sides in the table. There is also a goal difference gap between the teams of 74, with The New Saints on a plus figure of 65, while the Silkmen are on minus-nine.

It will also be the final one on the road for Craig Harrison’s team before the league splits, with the ultimate game a home encounter against Bala Town on January 21.

As far as current form is concerned, the league leaders have won four on the bounce and remain the only unbeaten team this season in top-flight Welsh football.

Lee Fowler’s Flint Town United have only lost on one occasion in their five previous outings, although they’ve had just the one win with three games drawn.

At the wrong end of the table as far as they are concerned, the Silkmen are just two points above the relegation places, which they will be looking to turn round sooner rather than later.

For tomorrow’s game, the home side will be wearing their usual black and white striped shirts, black shorts and socks. The goalkeepers will be in all-orange.

The New Saints will be in blue shirts and shorts with black socks and the ‘keepers in all-red.

The officials are as follows: Mark Petch (referee), Connor Fowler and Connah Sears (assistant referees). Aaron Jones is the fourth official and Dean John the referee observer.

Kick-off is 7.45 p.m. and if you’re not at Essity Stadium in person you can follow the action via TNS Radio, which you can access on the club’s website or Facebook home page.

Either way, we look forward to your company.
