After an illustrious footballing career with The New Saints, it all came to an end for Paul Harrison once the 2021/22 season reached its climax.

However, with fifteen years behind him, the goalkeeper, club captain and Park Hall legend saw one door close and another open.

Well, to be precise several doors, as he is not only The New Saints’ team operations manager but he is also the first-team goalkeeping coach, as well as offering his services to the academy.

Staying in a hotel in Cardiff ahead of tomorrow’s JD Cymru Premier game against Penybont FC, we sat down with H as he chatted about the journey, and in particular the transition from player to staff.
