In the final game of phase one in the JD Cymru Premier, we welcome Caernarfon Town to Park Hall. This will be the fourth league fixture since Huw Griffiths’ side returned to the top-flight of Welsh domestic football.

The first saw the visitors snatch a 1-0 victory, courtesy of an 86th minute penalty from Nathan Craig. That was in November, 2018, although the next two games registered maximum points for the home team.

The April, 2019, encounter saw Kurtis Byrne’s 12th minute opener cancelled seven minutes later, as Darren Thomas found the net.

Late goals from Greg Draper (78) and a second from Byrne (81), saw The New Saints comfortably over the line, though, come the final whistle.

Four months on, in August, the final score was much closer, as a Ryan Brobbel goal, with twenty-seven on the clock, was all that separated the sides as the referee blew for the final time.

Prior to the fixtures in recent seasons, we have to go back to September 2008, when a brace each from club legends Scott Ruscoe and Mike Wilde and solo efforts from Alfie Carter and Barry Hogan ensured a 6-0 victory.
