The New Saints FC Foundation has welcomed the commencement of a new service offering emotional well-being support for young people under 25 years who are registered with a GP in Shropshire. The service, called BEAM, is being offered by The Children’s Society, and there are opportunities for families to join virtual sessions to find out more about the service over the coming weeks, starting today – 8th February 2021.

Foundation Manager Gill Jones said: “We welcome this service which has been tailored for young people and their families in the Oswestry area. BEAM can support young people and their families with emotional health and wellbeing issues such as low level anxiety, sleep problems, panic attacks and anger. We are sharing the information as widely as we can, as we have contact with many young people through our youth and community sport provision, and want to ensure as many people as possible are aware of the service. We would encourage families to get in touch with BEAM if they think it could help them”.
