While more recent fans of The New Saints may not be familiar with the name Alfie Carter, those who have supported the team for a number of years will need no reminding of his contribution to the club.

Finding his way to The New Saints in 2005 – courtesy of a journey that began at Walsall FC – the Birmingham-born striker has made a return to Park Hall in the last couple of weeks.

We chatted with Alfie in the Snackbox room at The Venue, and if you look carefully at the board behind, you will notice that he’s on there.
