Experienced midfielder, Chris Seargeant, has signed for fellow JD Welsh Premier League side, Bala Town, on loan until the end of the season.
Unfortunately, injuries combined with a very competitive midfield at Park Hall, has meant that the TNS FC veteran has found opportunities thin on the ground during the current campaign.
He did feature in the 3-0 JD Welsh Cup win in south Wales though, in December, against Cwmbran Celtic. Opening the scoring from the penalty spot in the 24th minute, Seargeant went on to add a second three minutes before the break.
A further three minutes on, at the start of the second half, he completed his hat-trick, as The New Saints went on to win 3-0 in the competition.
Speaking to Seargeant, he told us: “It’s been a frustrating season with a few niggles – and the lads are flying – so I want to go and get some minutes before the season ends, ready for pre-season next time round.”
In addition we spoke to Scott Ruscoe: “Sarge has gone on loan to get some game time until the end of the season. He’s going to a side that has some very good footballers and will only make them stronger.”
