This Weekend (October 11th), The New Saints Women welcome Briton Ferry Llanswel to Park Hall Stadium in the Genero Adran Premier.
The New Saints go into this match following a scintillating 3-2 victory away at The Rock against defending Adran Premier champions, Wrexham, as Fiona Barry got a stoppage time winner for the second week running to make it five consecutive positive results at the start of a league campaign for the first time.
Meanwhile, Briton Ferry claimed a 7-1 at The Renewable Centre Stadium against Wrexham.
In the head-to-head between the two teams, The New Saints have come out victorious three occasions, Briton Ferry have won twice, with there being three draws between the sides.
The last meeting between the teams resulted in a 3-2 win for the Saints in phase one of the Adran Premier campaign last season (Sunday, November 16th) thanks to goals from Lexie Harrison, Caitlin Chapman, and Lia Lewis.
Kieran Lee-Birch’s team are to wear the traditional green and white hooped shirt with green shorts and socks this weekend, with the goalkeepers to wear all-yellow.
This weekend’s visitors will be in yellow shirt with black shorts and socks, while keepers are to wear all-purple.
Sunday’s officials are as follows: Richard Wright (referee), Gavin Maloney and Katie Hannah (assistant referees), and Aled Williams (fourth official).
