The New Saints Women are back in Genero Adran Premier action this weekend against Pontypridd United, and earlier this week, head coach Jodie Williams held her latest pre-match press conference.

After two wins from two at Park Hall so far this season, Sunday’s match provides an opportunity for the Saints to bounce back immediately following their 3-1 defeat against Briton Ferry Llansawel in their last league outing.

With Pontypridd currently sitting bottom of the table following three defeats from defeat, the former Everton U16s coach explained the importance of avoiding any complacency, and discussed whether or not there’s anything her side need to do differently this weekend to secure the win.

Williams also discussed last week’s arrival of defender Safia Paraiso, as well as providing insight into the reasoning for allowing goalkeeper Megan Bowen to join Connah’s Quay Nomads on loan until January.
