For the third time in eight days, The New Saints are in JD Cymru Premier action tomorrow night, travelling to Maes Tegid to face Bala Town.
It was another positive result for the defending champions at Park Hall on Tuesday, as they defeated Flint Town United 4-2 to record a fifth consecutive win.
Taking a 1-0 lead through Jordan Williams, the Saints were pegged back by their visitors midway through the first-half, but goals from Ryan Brobbel and Ben Wilson either side of the break gave Craig Harrison’s side a comfortable lead.
The Silkmen did reduce the arrears eight minutes from time to set up a nervy finish, although a first TNS goal from summer signing Ken Charles in the first minute of stoppage time wrapped up all three points for the hosts.
Bala Town were also in action on Tuesday, making the trip to newly-promoted Colwyn Bay. Continuing their good start to the season, Stephen Fisher’s side were 1-0 winners thanks to a Hussein Mehasseb goal three minutes before half-time.
It’s a result that keeps the Lakesiders in fourth place in the JD Cymru Premier table, five points behind leaders The New Saints.
For tomorrow night’s match, Bala Town will take to the field in white shirts with black shorts and socks, while the visitors will be wearing their all-blue away kit. Goalkeepers will be in all-purple and all-orange respectively.
Aaron Wyn Jones is the referee, with Ashley Davis and Matthew Johnson the two assistants. Rob Jenkins is the fourth official and Michael Jones the referee observer.
Tickets can be purchased HERE and are priced at £7 for adults, £4 for concessions and £1 for U16s. Kick-off is scheduled for 7:45pm.
If you’re unable to make it to Maes Tegid, you don’t have to miss out on the action, as you can stream the match live via TNS TV (outside the UK and Ireland only) at 247.tv/live/football.
