After almost five months of waiting, it’s finally a return to competitive action for The New Saints Women this weekend.

Jodie Williams’ side take on defending champions Cardiff City in front of the S4C cameras, and ahead of that match, the side’s new head coach held her pre-match press conference last night prior to training.

Explaining what it was that brought her to The New Saints, the former Everton U18s coach shared her thoughts after the conclusion of the pre-season campaign, and discussed the additions that have been made to what was an already strong squad.

On top of that, Williams described what would make this season a successful one, and shared a message for supporters encouraging them to turn out and back the team on Sunday.
