After defeating Connah’s Quay Nomads 3-0 on Friday night, The New Saints face a quick turnaround before their next JD Cymru Premier fixture against newly-promoted Colwyn Bay.

Visiting the Blue Turtle Arena on bank holiday Monday, Craig Harrison’s side will be looking to make it three from three on the North Wales coast against a Seagulls side still searching for their first win of the season.

Although results haven’t gone their way thus far, Colwyn Bay have shown flashes of what they’re capable of, earning two valuable draws – 1-1 at home against Connah’s Quay on the opening day, followed by another draw with the same scoreline away at Barry Town United six days later.

Pipping Airbus UK Broughton to the JD Cymru North title by three points last year, it was an immediate return to the top flight for Mike Wilde’s side, and they’ll be hoping to do better than they did during their previous stint in the JD Cymru Premier when they were relegated after just one season.

Since their move to the Welsh system in 2019, the Saints have faced the Seagulls four times in both league and cup competitions, tasting victory on all four occasions. The most recent meeting between the sides was a 4-1 win on December 15th, 2024, in the fourth round of the JD Welsh Cup.

For Monday’s contest Colwyn Bay will be wearing claret and blue shirts, with claret shorts and socks, while the Saints will be wearing all-black. Goalkeepers will be in all-green and all-turquoise respectively.

The match will be refereed by Aron Wyn Jones, with Martin Roberts and Richard Dolphin the two assistants. John Jones is the fourth official and Nathan Brearley the referee observer.

Tickets can be purchased at the gate and are priced at £10 for adults, £5 for concessions and £2 for U16s. Kick-off is scheduled for 2:30pm.

If you aren’t at Park Hall in person, you don’t have to miss out on the action, as you can stream the match live via TNS TV (outside the UK and Ireland only) at 247.tv/live/football.
