The New Saints Women return to Park Hall Stadium this weekend (March 9), as Shauna Duffy’s team take on Briton Ferry Llansawel Ladies in the second round of Genero Adran Premier Championship Conference matches.

In last Sunday’s action (March 2), The New Saints lost 3-1 to Wrexham at The Rock.

On the same day, Briton Ferry Llansawel were also defeated, as the 2023/24 Genero Adran South champions lost for the first time in a league game at Old Road Welfare Ground since April, 2021. Rhys James’ side were overturned 2-0 by Adran Premier defending champions, Cardiff City.

The last meeting between The Saints and Briton Ferry was in the Bute Energy Welsh Cup quarter-finals at Ferry (February 16). It ended 2-2 in normal time between the sides, but Saints walked away 4-2 victors on penalties to advance to the semi-finals of the Welsh Cup for a second consecutive season.

In the Adran Premier table, Saints are third on 25 points, while Ferry are second on 27 points.

For Sunday’s encounter, TNS will wear a green and white hooped shirt with green shorts and socks. The goalkeepers are to be in all-purple.

The visitors are to wear light-blue shirts and socks with black shorts, while the keepers are set to be in all-grey.

Patrick Wilding is the referee for the match, with Jamie Monk and Katie Hannah the assistant referees.
