Voting is underway for our January 2025 Goal of the Month award, in partnership with Lion Quays Resort.

Although the fixture schedule was largely impacted by the weather, there were still a number of great goals scored in January despite just four competitive games being played.

Josh Pask’s last-gasp winner against Newtown on January 4th is the first goal on our shortlist, with the defender’s header in the ninth minute of second-half stoppage time ensuring his side remained top of the JD Cymru Premier table.

Emily Ridge’s effort against Briton Ferry Llansawel, which sparked the dramatic comeback in the Genero Adran Tropy semi-final, is also in the running, as is Maria Francis-Jones’ long-range finish which hauled The New Saints Women level in that game.

Rounding off our shortlist is another long-range strike, scored by Chantelle Teare in last weekend’s 4-3 defeat against Cardiff City.
