This coming Saturday (February 1st), The New Saints get their JD Cymru Premier Championship Conference campaign underway at home against Cardiff Met University.
Also facing the Archers in their final phase one fixture, it was a 2-0 victory for Craig Harrison’s side at Cyncoed Campus just over two weeks ago.
On that occasion, the two sides were separated by a 39th minute Aramide Oteh penalty, before Met defender, Jac Clay, inadvertently turned Sion Bradley’s corner past his own goalkeeper with just a minute of the 90 to go.
Ryan Jenkins’ side have failed to win on any of their previous seven visits to Park Hall Stadium, conceding 31 and scoring just once in the process.
The team from the capital did record an impressive victory in their last JD Cymru Premier outing, however, as they defeated title challengers Penybont 2-1 at Cyncoed last weekend. Former TNS man, CJ Craven, was on target for the Students in that one.
For Saturday’s fixture, The New Saints will wear their traditional home kit of green and white shirts, green shorts and green socks, while Cardiff Met will take to the field in burgundy shirts and socks with navy blue shorts. Goalkeepers will be in all-turquoise and all-black respectively.
David Morgan is the referee, while Daniel Beckett and James Sheils are the two assistants. Huw Jones is the fourth official, with Michael Jones the referee observer.
Tickets can be purchased HERE and are priced at £11 for adults, £6 for concessions and £3 for U16s. To speed up entry into the stadium and prevent queuing on arrival, it’s strongly advised to purchase tickets online in advance.
If you aren’t at Park Hall in person, you don’t have to miss out on the action, as you can stream the match live via TNS TV (outside the UK and Ireland only) at 247.tv/live/football.
