After last weekend’s game against Caernarfon Town was postponed due to storm damage, The New Saints finally get their JD Cymru Premier Championship Conference campaign underway on Saturday. 

Cardiff Metropolitan University are the visitors to Park Hall and Craig Harrison’s side will be looking to record a sixth consecutive league victory against the Archers to further strengthen their title hopes.

Ahead of the fixture, head coach, Harrison, was on media duty earlier today, and described Saturday’s opponents as a ‘well-organised team, with good young and enthusiastic players’ in his pre-match press conference.

Asked whether it was frustrating to see last weekend’s match postponed, the former English Premier League defender also provided an update regarding potential transfers, and explained how it’s helped having more contact time on the training pitch with the fixture schedule no longer as intense.
