This Sunday (January 26), The New Saints Women take on Cardiff City in a top-of-the-table clash in the Genero Adran Premier at Park Hall Stadium.

The New Saints go into the weekend’s encounter following a remarkable 3-2 comeback win against Briton Ferry Llansawel at Park Hall last Sunday (January 19) to reach a first Genero Adran Trophy final.

Meanwhile, Cardiff City’s most recent outing was last night (January 23), as Iain Darbyshire’s team beat Barry Town United 3-1 at Jenner Park in the Adran Premier, which was Cardiff’s first match of 2025.

In the last meeting between The Saints and the Bluebirds (Sunday, December 8), it was the Oswestry-based team that came away with a 1-0 victory in the Genero Adran Trophy quarter-finals at Park Hall thanks to an Olivia Buckland goal.

For the weekend’s clash, TNS will wear a green and white hooped shirt with green shorts and socks. The goalkeepers are in all-purple.

Cardiff are in all dark-blue, while keepers will wear all light-green.

The officials are as follows: Richard Wright (referee), Harvey Smallman and Jamie Monk (assistant referees).

Kick-off is at 2 p.m with live updates available on The New Saints Women’s X page (formerly Twitter) as always.
