The draw for the Genero Adran Trophy round of 16 was made last night, with the The New Saints Women given an away trip to Jubilee Way to face Genero Adran South side, Caldicot Town.

Like every year at this stage, all Adran Premier sides came in as the seeds to face a second tier team, who managed to make it through the group stage.

Caldicot got to the round of 16 by coming top of a group that contained Cascade, Swansea University, and Llanelli Town.

It is the second time Kellan Webb’s side have got to the knockout rounds of the competition, following a round of 16 appearance in the 2021/22 season, where Caldicot lost 3-1 at home to Barry Town United (Sunday, December 19th, 2021).

The New Saints has always had decent success in the Adran Trophy, as the Oswestry-based team have reached the semi-finals in every edition.

It will be a first meeting between The Saints and Caldicot.

All ties will be played on Sunday, November 10th.
