This weekend (September 22nd), The New Saints Women play their first home game of the Genero Adran Premier season against Abersytwyth Town at Park Hall Stadium.
The New Saints started off the Adran Premier campaign with a 5-0 victory against Barry Town United at Jenner Park (Sunday, September 15th), the biggest away win for The Saints in the league’s history to top the table after the first week.
Meanwhile, the Seasiders were defeated 4-0 by Briton Ferry Llansawel at Park Avenue.
In the most recent meeting between the two teams (Sunday, February 11th), Saints and Aberystwyth played out a 3-3 draw at Park Avenue.
The last game at Park Hall ended in a 4-3 win for the Oswestry-based team following an entertaining game (Sunday, November 5th).
In the overall head-to-head, Shauna Duffy’s team have four wins, Aberystwyth have one, and the other two encounters have finished in draws.
For Sunday’s game, TNS will be in a green and white hooped shirt with green shorts and socks, while the goalkeepers are in all-purple.
Chris Church’s side are in a yellow and black shirt, black shorts and yellow socks.
The officials for the match are as follows: Mark James (referee), Harvey Smallman and Katie Hannah (assistant referees).
