This weekend (Sunday, September 15th), The New Saints Women travel to South Wales to take on Barry Town United at Jenner Park in the opening game of the 2024/25 Genero Adran Premier season.

It is set to be Shauna Duffy’s first competitive game in charge of The New Saints, taking over the reigns from New Zealand international, Greg Draper.

The Saints’ last and only win at Jenner Park was on Sunday, November 6th, 2022, when Emily Ridge netted a hat-trick in a 3-2 victory.

For the opener in South Wales, the Oswestry-based team will be wearing green and white hooped shirts with green shorts and socks. The goalkeepers are to wear an all-purple kit.

Barry Town are in a yellow shirt and socks with dark blue shorts, with keepers in an all-light green kit.

In the overall head-to-head between the two teams, TNS have four wins, while Barry have six.

The officials are as follows: Ieuan Lewis (referee), Ashley Davis and Brooklyn Lloyd-Meek (assistant referees).
