Following their historic victory against FK Panevėžys, The New Saints discovered their six opponents in the league phase of the 2024/25 UEFA Conference League this afternoon.
Making their debut in the competition proper, Craig Harrison’s side will face the following opponents:
- Fiorentina (Italy)
- Djurgården (Sweden)
- Astana (Kazakhstan)
- Shamrock Rovers (Ireland)
- Panathinaikos (Greece)
- Celje (Slovenia)
The matches against Djurgården, Astana and Panathinaikos will be played at home, while the games with Fiorentina, Shamrock Rovers and Celje will take place on the road.
Fixture details – including dates and kick-off times – will be confirmed by UEFA tomorrow (August 31st).
The sides who finish in the top eight of the table for the 36-team league phase will directly qualify for the round of 16.
Those who finish ninth to 24th will enter the knockout round play-offs, with the eight winners from those ties advancing to the last 16.
