In partnership with the University of Chester, The New Saints Football Club (TNS) are offering a 50% Funded MSc placement opportunity within their analysis department for the 2024/25 season.
The successful candidate will work closely with the analysis team, as well as coaches and a variety of multi-disciplinary staff to deliver high-level performance analysis support.
This part funded opportunity highlights The New Saints’ commitment to providing opportunities to bring through the next generation of talent to the football club both on and off the pitch. This opportunity will allow the successful candidate to gain on the job experience in the analysis department of one of Europe’s most successful clubs.
Main Roles and Responsibilities:
• Filming (wide angle) games and training
• Live and Post-Event Coding (using Nacsport)
• Creating pre match and post-match clips
• Creating clips that relate to the Academy’s playing philosophy
• Maintaining match analysis databases
• Undertaking the MSc Sports Performance Analysis Programme and complete a dissertation that relates to match analysis
