16-time JD Cymru Premier champions The New Saints are looking to appoint a Community Engagement Manager, tasked with growing the supporter base in and around the local community. 

The Community Engagement Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing community engagement initiatives to foster positive relationships between the football club and the local community.

This newly introduced role is supported by the FAW’s funding as part of their growth strategy for the Cymru Premier. The FAW are supporting clubs across the division to make key hires to help community and commercial engagement to help increase engagement with the league and its clubs across the nation.

The successful candidate will implement and deliver a fan engagement strategy that will entice new supporters to get involved with The New Saints and its various initiatives across the Men’s and Women’s teams. To read the full job description please click here

Interested candidates should hold an undergraduate degree in community development, sports management or a related field, additionally they should have proven experience in community development, outreach, or a similar role, preferably within a sports context and or within the community arm of a professional sports organisation. 

Relevant FAW safeguarding, first aid and enhanced DBS checks will also take place given the nature of the role.
