It’s our penultimate game of the JD Cymru Premier season on Saturday (April 13), as we travel to the capital to take on Cardiff Metropolitan University FC on MD31.

One of three clubs competing for a fourth-placed finish, the Archers are currently in fifth, but just one point behind Caernarfon Town and one ahead of Newtown AFC.

Recent games between Craig Harrison’s and Ryan Jenkins’ sides have gone very much the way of the former, with five straight wins in all competitions.

With wins of 7-1, 5-1, 8-0, 4-0 and 6-2, the aggregate score is an impressive 30-4.

However, the only defeat for The New Saints in the league last season was when Cardiff Met came from 2-0 down in the opening twelve minutes, to win 3-2 on February 11, 2023.

From the starting XI, only Adam Wilson  – who scored the second goal – is no longer at Park Hall, following his move to Bradford City.

It’s traditional kits for the teams this Saturday, with Cardiff Met in maroon shirts and socks with blue shorts. The New Saints will be taking to the pitch in green and white hooped shirts, green shorts and socks.

The goalkeepers will be in yellow and blue/blue/yellow and all-sky blue respectively.

The officials are as follows: Tom Owen (referee), Connor Thomas and Cilan Thomas (assistant referees) and Ben Schofield (fourth official). Craig Greenstock is the referee observer.

The encounter gets underway at 2.30 p.m. and you can follow worldwide audio commentary on TNS Radio, via our YouTube channel. In addition, the game will be streamed around the globe, except for United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland.
