This Sunday (March 10th), The New Saints Women travel to Cyncoed Campus to take on Cardiff Met in the first game of phase two in the Genero Adran Premier.

In the last round of Adran Premier games before the split (February 11th), The New Saints narrowly missed out on a place in the Adran Premier Championship Conference on goal difference following a 3-3 draw against Aberystwyth Town at Park Avenue.

Meanwhile, Cardiff Met finished phase one in seventh on 12 points, with their final game ending in a 2-2 draw against Wrexham at The Rock.

The last meeting between the teams came in the last game of 2023 (December 17th) at Park Hall in the Adran Premier, where The Saints won 4-1.

In the last meeting between the sides in Cardiff (September 24th), a highly entertaining affair in South Wales ended in a 4-4 draw.

Looking at the league table, the Oswestry-based team currently lead the Archers by five points heading into phase two.

For Sunday’s encounter, the Students will wear burgundy shirts and socks with dark blue shorts, while the goalkeepers are to be in a yellow shirt with black shorts and socks.

TNS are in green and white hooped shirts with green shorts and socks. The goalkeepers will wear an all-purple outfit.

The officials for the weekend’s game are as follows: Jordan Harman (referee), Ashley Davis and Zak Thomas (assistant referees).
