With a trio of games within the space of a week, the visit to Maes Tegid concludes the busy period, as The New Saints play Bala Town on Friday, February 9.

The JD Cymru Premier MD24 fixture has a 7.45 p.m. kick-off time, as the league leaders take on third-placed Lakesiders.

However, while just one team separates the clubs in the league table, the points gap is twenty-seven. As far as the advantage over second spot is concerned, The New Saints enjoys a lead of seventeen points ahead of Connah’s Quay Nomads.

It’s certainly a healthy position that Craig Harrison’s team finds itself in, as they look to retain the JD Cymru Premier title.

With no league defeats so far this season and just two draws, one of those came in August last year as the game at Maes Tegid against Bala Town ended 0-0.

It remains the only domestic match that The New Saints has failed to score in during the current campaign.

The return fixture of phase one saw late first-half goals from Ben Clark and Ryan Brobbel secure a 2-0 victory.

On Friday, The New Saints will be taking to the field in green shirts, grey shorts and socks, while Bala Town will be in white shirts, black shorts and socks.

The respective goalkeepers will be in all-burgundy and all-purple.

Iwan Griffith is the appointed referee and he will be assisted by Connor Fowler and Harvey Smallman. Richard Wright is the fourth official and Stephen Hames the referee observer.

The game will again be broadcast via TNS TV, with worldwide access (other than the UK and Ireland). Details will be published on our social media platforms.
