The New Saints midfielder, Jon Routledge, has joined Marine on loan until the end of the season.

The 34-year-old has made ten appearances for Craig Harrison’s side this season and scored a crucial penalty in the SPFL Trust Trophy shootout victory against East Fife.

During the current campaign, the number six has captained the first-team on three occasions in wins against Ruthin Town, Gresford Athletic and Trethomas Bluebirds, while also recording two assists.

The midfielder joined The Saints from Dumbarton in the summer of 2016 and has won five JD Cymru Premier titles, four JD Welsh Cups and three Nathaniel MG Cups during his time at Park Hall.

Routledge now links up with the Mariners for the remainder of the season, as they bid to win promotion from the Northern Premier League.
