The New Saints play their final game in the first phase of this season’s JD Cymru Premier tomorrow evening, with Newtown making the journey north to Park Hall. 

Holding a 15-point lead at the top of the table, The Saints will be looking to continue the momentum and record a 17th consecutive win to put themselves in the strongest possible position ahead of the Championship Conference.

The Robins always provide a tough challenge whenever they visit Oswestry, but were dealt a blow earlier in the week when it was announced that long-serving manager, Chris Hughes, would be leaving his role, having led the club to three European qualifications during a 10-year stint.

Holding his pre-match press conference earlier today, Hughes’ departure was one of the topics discussed by TNS head coach, Craig Harrison.

The former Middlesbrough defender also shared his thoughts following progression into the Nathaniel MG Cup final, discussed the strength of the club’s Academy, and provided an update regarding injury and availability.
