The New Saints play their first game of 2024 tomorrow evening, as they make the short journey south to Guilsfield in the semi-finals of the Nathaniel MG Cup. 

A competition they’ve failed to win since 2018, The Saints will be hoping to continue the superb run of form that’s seen them win 14 consecutive matches and book their place in the final at Jenner Park on January 20th.

Having faced Guilsfield in competitive fixtures twice previously, the team from Park Hall have triumphed on both occasions (once in 2008 and the other in 2022) and will fancy their chances of making it three from three once the opening whistle blows at Clos Mytton.

As his side get set for their latest challenge, head coach, Craig Harrison, held his pre-match press conference at Park Hall earlier today.

Answering questions about the 12-point advantage at the top of the JD Cymru Premier, the desire within the team to lift the Nathaniel MG Cup, and the superb recent form his side have shown, the former Middlesborough defender also provided an update regarding injuries and availability.
