This Sunday (December 10th), The New Saints Women welcome Aberystwyth Town to Park Hall Stadium in the quarter-finals of the Bute Energy Welsh Cup.

The New Saints got to this stage of the competition courtesy of a 3-0 victory against Connah’s Quay Nomads (October 8th), and a 4-0 win over Y Felinheli in round two (November 12th) – both games took place at Park Hall.

Aberystwyth reached the last eight on the same dates as The Saints after getting past Llanfair United 3-0 at Mount Field, followed by an 8-0 victory against Rhyl 1879 at Belle Vue.

The last meeting between the two teams ended in a 4-3 victory for the Oswestry-based team in phase one of this season’s Genero Adran Premier at Park Hall (November 5th).

For Sunday’s encounter, Greg Draper’s team are set to wear a green and white hooped shirt with green shorts and socks. The goalkeepers will be in an all-purple kit.

This weekend’s visitors are to be in a yellow and black shirt with yellow shorts and socks, while the keepers are to be in an all-orange outfit.

The officials are as follows: Alex Livesey (referee), Ryan Hughes and Jamie Monk (assistant referees).

Kick-off is at 2 p.m, and there will be live updates available on The New Saints Women’s X page.
