It’s a big game at Park Hall this weekend, as Arbroath visit Oswestry in the quarter-finals of the SPFL Trust Trophy.

This is the first time The New Saints have reached the last eight since the 2017/2018 season, and with victories against Hibernian B and East Fife in previous rounds, the JD Cymru Premier champions will be looking to make it three wins from three when they face the Scottish Championship side.

Going into the game on a 22-match unbeaten run, Craig Harrison’s side have won their last seven games in all competitions, while Dick Campbell’s Smokies have lost four of their last five.

Earlier today, the former Premier League defender held his latest pre-match press conference following this morning’s training session, as attention begins to turn towards Saturday’s fixture.

Harrison reflected on the 7-0 JD Welsh Cup victory against Trethomas Bluebirds, explained the sort of test he’s expecting when the opening whistle blows this weekend, and also shared his thoughts on how the Welsh system compares to its Scottish equivalent.

Check out the video below to hear all of that, plus more.
