LATEST NEWS

With seven games in October, it’s another busy month for The New Saints and we get off the mark with a visit to SDM Glass Stadium this coming Saturday (October 7).

The JD Cymru Premier MD11 game against Penybont FC is (at the time of writing) a fifth versus first encounter, with nine points separating the sides in the table.

The leaders are on a good run of form at the moment, with four consecutive wins in the league, while the Bont’s run of three on the bounce was halted with a 4-2 defeat on the road last weekend at Connah’s Quay Nomads.

Since their promotion to the top-flight of Welsh football in the 2019/2020 season, we have played nine games at SDM Glass Stadium in all competitions, and with seven wins and two draws the visits to the historic county of Glamorgan have been very successful.

However, we’ve been made to work hard for the results and there’s no reason to think that it will be any different this weekend either.

The home side will be in all-blue, with The New Saints wearing green and white hooped shirts, green shorts and socks. The respective ‘keepers will be in all-yellow and all-purple.

The appointed referee is Bryn Markham-Jones and he will be assisted by Lewiss Edwards and Jordan Christopher. Alex McInch is the fourth official and John Davies the referee observer.

The game gets underway at 2.30 p.m. and there is transport from Park Hall for fans (see John Lumley). If you’re not there in person, however, you can follow the action on TNS Radio via our Facebook page/website.
