It’s another trip to South Wales for The New Saints Women this weekend, as they travel to Cardiff Met WFC on Genero Adran Premier matchday two. 

Fresh off the back of a 3-1 victory in their opening match against Pontypridd United, The Saints will be heading to Cyncoed Campus with plenty of confidence.

The team from Oswestry defeated the Archers both home and away in last year’s Championship Conference, with the second of those matches being the eventful 5-4 win on the final day season.

As his side continue their preparations for the journey south, head coach, Greg Draper, held his latest pre-match press conference at Park Hall Stadium earlier today.

Providing details from this week’s training session and an update regarding injuries and availability, the New Zealand international discussed the Students’ summer of upheaval, and whether or not previous results hold any bearing as a result.
