The New Saints FC Foundation is committed to improving opportunities and activities for young people in North West Shropshire. 

At what is a very exciting time in our development, we are looking to recruit an individual to lead our youth and community provision. 

Our current offer includes the operation of a number of weekly rural youth clubs, youth holiday activities, youth engagement projects and young supporter engagement activities.  We anticipate this provision continuing to grow as a key focus of the Foundation.

The successful applicant will be highly motivated and energetic, with extensive experience of working with young people, and the confidence to plan, lead and guide safe, progressive and engaging young people’s provision.

Ideally, you will be qualified to at least Level 3 in Youth and Community Work.  However, the Foundation is prepared to invest in the necessary training for the right person. 

The role will involve you working and engaging mainly with young people aged 9 to 16 years – and the responsibilities of the role will be to develop and lead provision which aims to guide and support young people in their personal, social and educational development to help them reach their full potential in society – working with a range of statutory and voluntary sector partners to achieve this.
