This weekend, The New Saints Women are in action for the final time this season when they travel to the capital to face Cardiff Metropolitan University. 

The 2022/23 Genero Adran Premier campaign has been full of memorable moments, with the 4-0 victory against Abergavenny, and the recent 2-1 win against Swansea City, just a couple of the results that can be looked back on fondly.

Having defeated the Archers for the first time back in February thanks to goals from Helen Evans and Emily Ridge, head coach, Greg Draper will be hoping his side can finish on a high with another positive result on Saturday.

Holding his pre-match press conference earlier today, the New Zealand international explained that he wasn’t surprised to see his side defeat the Swans last time out, how much confidence that result will give the team moving forwards, and how difficult of a job he’ll have when it comes to naming the starting line-up this weekend.

Draper also described the positive impact Shuana Duffy has already made since joining the club last week, and also provided an update regarding injuries and availability.
