It’s the second JD Cymru Premier game of the week for The New Saints this Friday (March 17) and following on from the 2-1 win against Bala Town on Monday, the league title could be secured at Deeside Stadium.

The MD27 game between Connah’s Quay Nomads and The New Saints is a second versus first affair but with seventeen-points separating the sides in the table, if the visitors avoid defeat then the trophy remains at Park Hall.

Having met twice already in the league this season, the head-to-head results have been very close, with TNS’ 2-1 home victory in August last year followed by a 1-1 in Flintshire four months later.

The summer win saw Declan McManus and Jon Routledge cancel Mike Wilde’s opener, while a 90+5 goal from Gwion Dafydd rescued a point two days before Christmas Day.

The match officials on Friday are as follows: Huw Jones (referee), Ashley Davis and Kenwyn Hughes (assistant referees). John Jones is the fourth official and Nathan Brearley the referee observer.

Connah’s Quay Nomads will be in all-red and the goalkeepers in all-yellow, while The New Saints will be wearing grey shirts with black shorts and socks with the ‘keepers in blue shirts, blue shorts and black socks.

Kick-off is 7.45 p.m. and you can follow the action on TNS Radio, via our website and Facebook page.
