Congratulations go to Gwion Dafydd, Danny Davies, Connor Roberts, and Leo Smith, who have all been selected to feature in the upcoming England C vs Wales C fixture later this month. 

Leo and Danny both featured in Wales’ 4-0 win against England at The Oval last season, while Connor was also involved with the squad, albeit as an unused substitute.

For Gwion, however, this year will be his first taste of representing his country as part of the C squad.

The quartets’ call-up means that, for the fourth consecutive fixture, there will be involvement from The New Saints, with former players, Aeron Edwards and Connell Rawlinson, also being selected in previous years.

Speaking earlier, Mark Jones, who once again manages the team, said: “We are very much looking forward to the game and it will be a good challenge against a top-class England side.

“I would like to congratulate every player who has been selected. I have stayed loyal to many of those who performed so well last year, but selection was nonetheless difficult because there are so many in-form players.”
