It’s a milestone game for The New Saints on Friday, as they play their 1000th fixture in the JD Cymru Premier.

The match against Bala Town is also significant for other reasons, as Craig Harrison’s side need just seven more points to secure a record-breaking 15th title.

In the two previous meetings between the sides already this season, The Saints have triumphed on both occasions, but with this weekend’s game now a preview of things to come in the JD Welsh Cup final, the league leaders could have their work cut out to secure all three points.

Holding his pre-match press conference earlier today, head coach, Harrison, discussed his pride in having played a considerable part in the club’s history and the challenges his side will face against an in-form Bala side, before concluding with an update regarding injuries and availability.
