This weekend, The New Saints Women head to the capital to play their Genero Adran Trophy semi-final against Cardiff City. 

After securing their place in the Adran Premier Championship Conference with just minutes to spare last weekend, the whole squad will be full of confidence going into the game on Sunday, but they’re up against a Bluebirds side who haven’t tasted defeat for more than 20 matches.

In his pre-match press conference today, head coach, Greg Draper, was keen to stress that his side are under no pressure to get a result at the Cardiff International Sports Stadium, but they’ll be doing everything they can to make the final of the competition for the first time.

Alongside the above, the New Zealand international shared his final reflections on the 4-0 victory against Abergavenny, while also paying tribute to the work his predecessor, Andy Williams, put in to get the team to where they are today.
