It is the rescheduled round 12 match in the Genero Adran Premier tomorrow (Wednesday, January 18), as The New Saints Women face Abergavenny at Park Hall Stadium.
This fixture was originally supposed to be played on Sunday, December 18th, but the game was postponed due to the Park Hall pitch being frozen. The match was postponed again last week (January 11), because the Pennies could not get a team together.
The New Saints’ last match ended in a 2-0 victory against Pontypridd United in the Genero Adran Trophy at Park Hall Stadium (January 15).
Abergavenny have not played since Sunday, December 11, when last season’s Genero Adran South champions lost 6-0 to Cardiff City at Leckwith Stadium in the FAW Women’s Cup.
In the most recent meeting between the two sides, The Saints were 4-2 victors at Pen-Y-Pound Stadium in the Adran Premier (October 2).
The Adran Premier table has Greg Draper’s Saints in fourth on 14 points and Josh Anderson’s side bottom of the pack with one point.
For tomorrow’s encounter, TNS will be in a green and white hooped shirt with green shorts and socks, goalkeepers will be in an all-red kit .
The visitors are to wear an all-dark blue kit and keepers in all-light green.
The officials are as follows: Arthur Smallman (referee), Harvey Smallman and Simon McCormick (assistant referees).
