It’s a journey along the north Wales coast for The New Saints this Sunday (December 11), as the league leaders travel to play Caernarfon Town on JD Cymru Premier MD17.
Due to the cancellation of another game earlier in the season, the fixture is the halfway point of the 2022/23 season.
Huw Griffiths’ Caernarfon currently occupy sixth place, although they trail TNS by nineteen points.
The sides have met twice at Park Hall already this season, with The New Saints winning on both occasions. The 3-0 JD Cymru Premier victory in October was followed, in the following month, by a 2-1 win in the JD Welsh Cup.
This Sunday, Caernarfon Town will be wearing yellow shirts and socks, with green shorts, while The New Saints will be in blue shirts and shorts with black socks.
The goalkeepers will be in all-black and all-red respectively.
The officials are Nick Pratt (referee), Connor Fowler and Kenwyn Hughes (assistant referees) and Aaron Wyn Jones (fourth official). The referee observer is John Davies.
The kick-off time is 2.30 p.m. and if you aren’t at the game in person, you can follow the action on TNS Radio via our website and Facebook page.
We will be joined on TNS Radio this week by Debbie Day, from Welsh Blood Service, who are in official partnership with the Football Association of Wales.
